In my opinion, the Porsche 908/3 (in Gulf livery) was one of the finest short wheel base road-racing cars ever built. Also known as "a lawn chair with 350hp", it was nimble, had a powerful AIR cooled flat-8 3 liter engine, and thanks to it's low weight and great balance, was very, very fast around the mountain roads of Sicily (re: Targa Florio). "The 908 Kid", I was searching the web for goode water ski and came across Pelican Parts Technical BBS - The Ultimate (wilderness) Accesory (this post). It wasn't exactly what i was looking for but nonetheless, it is quite interesting.
