The Beanery

One of my favorite watering holes in West Hollywood, is the legendary Beanery, near the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and La Cienega.

Barney's is famous for having "bean" (ha, ha) around since the Route 66 days. Back in the 20s, when the beanery was first built, Santa Monica was part of the famous highway that tied the westcoast to the eastcoast.

My favorite feature? Naturally, it would have to be "...200 varieties (domestic, imported, and 50 on tap)..." of beer (according to the website) that can be sampled here; but not in one night of course.

More info can be found at the website.

Thanks for the comment in my blog-o. I love Barney's, though I have only been there once. It rules!
