Wow!! It's been a while since I've posted. Last night: Turandot at the Queen Elizabeth Theater, in Vancouver.

First performance: Teatro alla Scala, Milan, 1926. Turandot is a Persian word meaning 'the Daughter of Turan', Turan being the region of Central-Asia."
