(yet) Another reason not to go back

For those who are in the "know" about the Canadian biz, this is definitely MAJOR news.

CBC News: Major B.C. studio considers move to Toronto: "VANCOUVER - Brightlight Pictures, one of British Columbia's busiest studios, says it is considering a move east, in order to take advantage of a new tax credit program for film producers recently offered by the Ontario government. "

Steve Hegyes, although not someone I care for on a personal level, is a highly respected BC producer, who's one of a small handfull to have made it from low-budget indie fare, to a level of commercial viability and a profitable career. His move to Toronto is yet another blow to the westcoast, and a sign that eventually the fish get bigger then the pond, and not the other way around.
